The city street was buzzing as it did every other day. Vendors showed off their wares, filling the air with their sales pitches, discounts, scams. Children screeched to their mothers with all the defiance they could muster, and the pick-pocketers earned their daily wage. Little did anyone know, something huge and monsterous was coming for them. Something so destructive, it would totally obliterate the hopes, and dreams, and schemes of everyone and their neighbours.
The first to realize that something was terribly wrong was a little boy who lived in a small hut, three blocks down from the fish market. We'll call him Jimmy. Unfortunately, Jimmy is also the first to get eliminated from the general human population, as he got hit with a rock that was from the falling debris from the sky. As if anyone liked Jimmy anyway. His refusal of sharing his cupcake with little lady Suzy last week, was absolutely absurd, and he got what was coming for him.
The next victim of the massive space-rock's children was Mr. Piko, who owned the fish market itself. A large, boulder-sized rock fell down through his shop while he was outside conversing with Mrs. Miffy about how he had caught so many fish that season, that he threw one type of fish onto the endangered list. This event of having his market destroyed caused Mr. Piko to believe that this was a sign of God and ceased the act of enslaving fish to a dish altogether.
